Denali Slingshot Rentals offers rentals for either 4 hours, 8 hours, or 24 hours.  All sightseeing descriptions listed below are suggestions on how you might spend your time.  The length of time to see the sights listed in the descriptions can vary greatly, depending on what speed you are comfortable traveling, weather and road conditions, and how many stops you make.  The sightseeing descriptions are provided for your consideration only and are not guaranteed to be completed within the rental time allotted with that description.  How you spend your rental time is strictly up to you, as long as you keep the vehicles on paved roads and within 250 miles of Healy, Alaska.  Travel beyond 250 miles requires prior written approval.

"THE DENALI"
4-HOUR RENTAL

​Explore Healy and the Denali area.  Take in the local attractions in Healy, then travel south on the George Parks Highway to Denali's commercial district and the entrance to Denali National Park.  In the Park you can explore the sites along 15 miles of paved roads to the Savage River. At the Savage River you can stretch your legs on several trails or climb the hills for spectacular views. Touring on a Polaris Slingshot will give you the freedom most visitors never get to enjoy.

After 110 miles of breathtaking scenery and the winding hills and curves of the Nenana Foothills, you will arrive in the Golden Heart City of Fairbanks where you can explore the University of Alaska Museum of the North, Pioneer Park, the Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum, and many other
local attractions.

Embark on something unusual. Drive to Talkeetna in a Polaris Slingshot!  Travel south on the George Parks Highway through Broad Pass, the highest point on the Parks Highway, and enjoy some of the most spectacular views of Denali along the way, weather permitting.  Popular stops on the Talkeetna sightseeing adventure include:  Denali State Park/Alaska Veteran's Memorial (Mile 147.1); views from the McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge (Mile 130);  and Trapper Creek with its colorful and eclectic Wal-Mike’s (Mile 114.5).  At Mile 100, you can head east to explore Talkeetna and its many shops and restaurants.
